S Club 7 have made their live debut in front of thousands of screaming fans with a song and dance spectacular. The group took their audience from Sheffield Arena to the glamorous locations of Hollywood, Broadway and the beach with their lavish stage sets. The group's first performance came just hours before they were expected to return to number one with the single Don't Stop Movin'. Until now the group have been seen in their own TV shows, on pop programmes and at a number of personal appearances, but had not played a proper gig. But they showed they could play live too. The band set the scene for the extravaganza which lay ahead before even setting foot on stage. To chants of "S Club, S Club", Hannah Spearritt dropped by parachute, Paul Cattermole arrived on a go-kart and Tina Bradley came in on a rickshaw. And when they were actually on stage the group moved from scene to scene in an American car. As well as running through their hits, there was also a solo slot from the group's youngest member Jon Lee, who after the rest of the band had left the stage, sang a moving version of She's Out Of My Life, by Michael Jackson - his audition song to join S Club 7. Towards the end of the song band mate Tina Barrett - a trained dancer - performed a ballet routine behind him

S Club 7 have described how the stage outfits they will wear on their UK tour were created by the Beckhams' favourite fashion designer Kenny Ho. The band plan to change costumes up to seven times during the extravagant two-hour show. At their first dress rehearsal band member Rachel told Ananova how Kenny Ho has given them a range of unique looks. Kenny is famed for designing Victoria Beckham's wedding dress and transforming Geri Halliwell's image after leaving the Spice Girls. "Kenny's a fantastic stylist," says Rachel. "He's created tailor-made suits to suit our individual styles. "The Hollywood-theme show sees Rachel, Jo, Hannah, Tina, Bradley, Jon and Paul change from jeans and sport tops to tuxedos, sailor suits, beachwear and leather biker jackets. "Designer clothes are great because you know they are going to be unique," Rachel said. "But I don't mind a bit of Top shop every now and then. "S Club 7 are planning another seven dress rehearsals before their UK tour begins at the Sheffield Arena on Saturday. "We have to get the show just right," Bradley tells Ananova. "Fans have paid a lot of money to come and see us and I'm willing to put in 150%. I don't care if I have a heart attack on stage."
