| Some people like music. Some love music. Bradley eats, drinks and sleeps music. So much so, his personal stereo is virtually surgically attached to his ears. If he's not listening, he's singing, humming or playing air drums. Perhaps that's no surprise considering the fact that Brad started going to gigs as soon as he could toddle. The reason: they were his mum and dad's gigs. During the '80s, Brad's parents were both in a band called the Cool Notes and beat him to an appearance on Top of The Pops by 15 years! Both are still in the music industry--his dad is a producer and has his own studio, and his mum is a backing singer who's currently working with R&B singer Lynden David Hall. Brad recently turned up at one of his mum's gigs--but this time he was actually on the same bill when both Lynden's group and S Club 7 performed at Party in the Park! It's no surprise then that by the age of eight, Brad was already planning his career. He locked himself in his bedroom and learnt to sing and dance along to all of Michael Jackson's tunes. Not long after, in between playing sport and dodging homework, he set up his first band called Krisp with his sister and cousin. This was probably the only early start that Brad has ever had! Morning is not a word that he likes to hear too often, let along experience. "My perfect waking-up time is about 12 or 1 o'clock." It seems no alarm clock exists that will stir the sleeping Brad and he's quickly earned himself a reputation amongst the other 7s when it comes to timekeeping. "He's always late!" sigh the whole band. "Everywhere we go, he's late," adds Rachel. "Brad's very laid back and usually in his own world, so he needs a bit of pushing!" |
